MailWasher Free 6.1.1.18 is a free spam filter that checks your email before you download them.
MailWasher Free is free to use and won't ever expire, but you can use it only to check one mail account. If you want to check more, you´ll need to upgrade to Pro, that´s not free.
With this tool, you can prevent the unwanted e-mails to even reach your computer, the program checks your mail directly on the mail server.
When you install MailWasher, the program will ask you to chose if you want to set it up automatically or manually.
Once that everything is configured, in the main screen of the program you will have to chose the "Check Mail" button.
MailWasher will then retrieve your email messages from the server, and will flag them according to its content, header, sender, etc, as "Good" or "Spam". Of course you can preview the messages in order to confirm if they are spam or not, good or not.
You can change the flag of the message, and then proceed with the spam elimination.
As with every antispam product, you´ll need to spend some time instructing it. |
